STONEWARE JACKSON
About Us

Stoneware Jackson Pottery Is situated in the valley of the river Nore just outside the mediaeval City of Kilkenny. The Pottery produces a range of ware from large platters with generous rims and soft profiled handles, to bold table lamps with hand painted shades.
The pots are entirely made by hand on the potters wheel and are glazed with colours and textures that bring out the tactile qualities of the wet clay.

The pots are made by a dedicated team of skilled craftsmen, who both enjoy the process and take pride in each piece made. Each piece should retain some of the character and spirit that went into its creation.

Function, combined with good design has been the aim of Michael & Mary Jackson since they set up the studio of Stoneware Jackson in 1976. Over the years the style of the pottery has changed but that aim has been firmly adhered to, and has resulted in a range of ware that is unique in its style and beauty. This, combined with its quality of finish ranks Stoneware Jackson among the very best.
